Hello
Thank you for visiting my website!

Tim is my name, although leading a busy life, I still make time to express my creativity, some of which I am happy to share on this website.

Whilst I understand that my art is not for everyone, for me it is a great outlet to express my feelings and emotions, helping me keep in a positive mindset.

Feel free to share your thoughts on my art with me, I always appreciate any feedback.

Enjoy!
My Story
I was born in Coburg, a North Melbourne suburb, but spent most of my youth growing up in the Netherlands—a place that helped shape my worldview and instilled in me a deep appreciation for creativity and cultural diversity. Returning to Australia as an adult brought new energy to my journey, blending my Melbourne roots with my Dutch upbringing.

I work as a Business Development Consultant for a leading Safety and Emergency Response Training provider, supporting high-risk industries. It's a role that allows me to build meaningful relationships and contribute to initiatives that prioritise safety, resilience, and preparedness—values I hold close and that reflect my empathetic and compassionate nature.

Art has always been a central part of my life. I have been drawing, airbrushing, painting, designing and illustrating since my teenage years. I studied Fine Arts online through Curtin University, a course that gave me valuable insights into artistic expression and helped refine my creative practice. I especially love painting and have a strong preference for oil on canvas. My work is deeply personal, often reflecting both the struggles and the joy I’ve experienced in life. I understand that my art isn’t for everyone, but that’s part of what makes it real and honest. I’ve also produced limited edition prints from several of my paintings, offering others a chance to connect with my work in their own way.

In addition to traditional mediums, I enjoy working with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite—Photoshop and Illustrator in particular—which lets me merge fine art with digital creativity. Airbrushing is another medium I find rewarding, offering yet another way to explore and express ideas.

Family is incredibly important to me. I treasure time spent with my loved ones, and I believe strong family values are one of life’s true cornerstones. That connection plays a big role in shaping who I am and often finds its way into the themes of my artwork.

Daily walks—whether it’s winding down after work or starting fresh on weekend mornings—are a cherished part of my routine. Along with my creative pursuits, exercise helps me stay in a good headspace. Both provide clarity, perspective, and a healthy outlet for processing life’s ups and downs. They keep me grounded and allow me to show up fully—both in my work and in my art.
